Four new deliverables on our website

We are excited to announce four new deliverables on our website, including “Just Transformations: Sectoral Stakeholder Engagement, Processes and Perceptions of Mainstreaming Nature-based Solutions (NbS)” (September 2024). This deliverable delves into the equitable approaches to NbS implementation, ensuring all stakeholders benefit. It explores how NbS can align economic interests with ecosystem restoration through win-win scenarios and highlights our collaborative work with six key economic sectors to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration on NbS. The research also addresses challenges such as financial feasibility and the need for clear metrics to showcase NbS effectiveness. It emphasizes the importance of including local voices in NbS initiatives and highlights the need for EU-level engagement to address policy and regulatory barriers.

The other deliverables, such as "Value Chain Analysis in Key Economic Sectors" and "Synthesis of the final Regional Scalability Plans (RSPs) ", offer valuable insights into the economic potential of NbS and the strategies for upscaling restoration initiatives across Europe. The Regional Scalability plans are now also available for the individual case studies and featured on the website.
